  1. I have been on many cruises and NEVER needed a visa for any country our ship visited.  I have been to the Mediterranean, the Baltic, Panama and Costa Rica and all over the Caribbean and no visa was ever required.  I have flown into Spain, London and taken the train to France and no Visa was required.

Countries usually require a visa when you plan to stay more than 24 hours.  If you are passing through, like on a cruise ship, no visa and in many cases not even a passport.

But you should be sure to have a valid passport as the time when it is absolutely required to re-enter the US is fast approaching:  January 1, 2008.

  2. You probably have to check with each country your ship visits to see if it's a problem.  I doubt it will, though you may be denied the ability to rent a car in some countries.  Your travel agent should be able to assist you in such cases.

  3. I think the only thing that would interfere with that would be if you have a warrant out for your arrest. If you've taken care of the charge, you should be able to get it.
