If I have a ban for 6 months, will it be a problem for getting a job in any of the Free Zones in Dubai?

Having a 6 months ban has nothing to do in getting a job in Dubai or any other Free Zones in Dubai. Yu can get as many interviews and jobs as you wanted to.

The problem is you can't be issued by the Ministry of Labour an employment visa during the ban period.

There are people in Dubai working and been in their work for so long (even years) without a working visa and you could be like them... getting and working a job without proper working visa. However it's a risk on your employer and your part as well as you are not going to receive any protection from the law.

A ban is a ban and the ban covers both companies inside and outside the Freezones.

If a person is working in a company INSIDE a Freezone and wants to finish the contract and move to another company within the freezone only - there is no ban.

But if you are from outside and been issued a ban from your former employer then Employment Visa CANNOT be issued to you (even the company applying is from the Freezone) during the duration of your ban period.

If you are talking about 6 months Labour ban in Dubai, offcourse you can take up offers with any Free Zones company. You won't have any issues getting a visa issued from them as the Free Zone companies doesn't relate to the Ministry of Labour and has different set of policies.

Even if this is the case, please try to cross check with the company who offers you the job before jumping into anything wrong.

if you can get an NOC, it won't be a problem. the ban can also be lifted by paying ban-lifting fees, aed500 for every month you did not complete with your employer.
