If I have a couple waverunners / jetskis, can I rent them out to people?

I mean they just sit in my driveway all the time, why not put an ad in the paper and let people rent them for $100 a day or something? Aside from the risk they might damage or steal them, is their anything else wrong with this idea?

other than the insurance thing, I bet you just need a business license.

I would assume you have to have some type of liability insurance on them and to protect you.

aside from the risk you pointed out you might want to check the laws in your state to see who would be liable in case of injury or damage to other property incase of accident.
