Rabbits absolutely have a scent.  I like the smell of rabbits, just not what comes out them.

Rabbit poo does not smell at all.  It's the urine that is awful.  Buy Marshall Bi-Odor for Rabbits and Small Animals.  You put it in their drinking water.  It naturally reduces the odor of their urine.  Also, high quality rabbit feed will help.  Yucca root, in the feed is helpful in reducing urine smells.

You'll also want to clean the cage daily or at least every other day.  using a litter like pelleted wood is very good for keeping odors to a minimum.

Rabbits' urine doesnt smell funny...it REEKS! But if you manage to keep it all clean or litter train your rabbit, Im sure you wont have a hard time.

If you don't keep the cage clean then yes. But be careful! Those rabbits can be the little escape artists and they can be hard to catch. They also chew everything.But they are so cute :)

Well, your house might smell a bit like hay.  Personally, I like the smell of hay so I don't consider it to be a "funny" smell.

As long as you keep the litter box clean then there's no odour associated with rabbits.  They are very clean and groom themselves continually.  As someone said they will chew on wires and the like, so make sure that you rabbit proof the areas that your rabbit will get out of cage time in.

not if you clean it regularly like every other day. I have a rabbit (Bun. E. Carlos) and she is really cool she hops around and is very cuddly but if i don't clean her cage she does start to smell a little. But the rabbit itself will not smell, rabbits are very clean animals they are sort of like cats they enjoy being clean and living in a clean environment.

Their food smells, their f***s smells and OH! their pee smells!

Even if its the cleanest it will smell a bit.

rabbit urine will go to ammonia real quick so you need to keep the cage clean.  rabbit p**p is a small little ball that is hard and easy to clean up if the rabbit poops on your floor.
