If I have a valid greencard and a valid travel passport, do i need a visa to go to Cancun,Mexico?

I live in the unites states and need am going to cancun for vacation, is the greencard and travel passport enough? Do i need a visa?

  1. No you don't need a visa . Visas are only necessary if you wanted to stay for a long period of time to work.


  2. See website below to read the statement that PERMANENT LEGAL RESIDENTS of the United States may travel to Mexico WITHOUT a visa.  This statement is  directly under the list of countries.

  3. No you don't need a visa to go to Mexico. You only need a visa when going to a communist country. I'm a greencard holder and I travel in and out of the country all the time. The only time I needed a visa was when I visited China. Have fun in Cancun!
