If I have an AT&T family plan and want to add a line, can I buy the LG Dare?

I was shown the phones available for adding a line and upgrading, and I came under the impression that for instance a specific phone does not need to be with one service.

no, the LG Dare is only on Verizon, so you can't unless you switch to Verizon. Better off getting the iPhone

yes you can change the sim card and the phone will be fine. the only problem in doing this. text messaging and downloads do take a little longer . not a great deal of time just a matter of 30 seconds . you will be fine .

Nope, its only for verizon, it doesn't have a sim card so you can't use it, sorry.
