If I have an older DirecTV Receiver box will I be able to use it on a new HDTV?

I understand that I won't be able to see HD channels, but would it still work? And how would I connect the box to the TV? Note: this new HDTV will not have a tuner.

  1. You can use it. you would need to use RCA cables (red white and yellow) which HDTVs currently support.
