If I have anemia, would it be appropiate to work at a ranch?

Because I have the side affects of anemia, like legs giving out, blurry vision, rapid heart rate, I really love horses, but would It be appropiate at the time to work at a ranch?

  1. It depends on whether you benefit from taking iron supplements.  If you can get your anemia under control, then there's no reason not to pursue what you want to do.  Even if you still suffer from side effects, maybe you can limit your activities but still be associated with the ranch.  Good luck to you.


  2. You know what your limitations are. If you think this is something that you could do, and you had a doctors checkup and approval. I and a few people I know have anemia but it doesn't affect me the way you are describing, I know that I must eat a balanced diet every day and if I don't that is when I may feel a bit dizzy but I am never constantly like that. Talk to your doc.  

  3. talk to your doctor. i'm anemic but i take iron to try to help me. i own 3 horses and my dad owns a farm so i have no choice but to work on a ranch. and i'm fine.
