  1. because no dr. wears glasses   lol yeah you will fly right through med school lol

  2. Yes

  3. No that's wrong. It's a long accepted fact that if you have vision less than 20/20 you cannot be a veterinarian.

  4. i dont see why not

you wont be able to join the airforce become a pilot or join the marines...but why would u need super eyesight as a pet doctor?

  5. what does your eye sight have to do with it. yes u will. doctors, veterinarian, army guys. just cause u need glasses or contacts doesn't mean u cant be what u want to be!! fallow Ur dream.

  6. I don't see reason why not. Of course, you just have to wear your lenses while working.

If I may add-- have you heard of paintings done by using foot or mouth? Every Yuletide season, here in our country, The Philippines, we have Christmas cards being sold in bookstores showcasing amazing paintings done by physically  handicapped  people with amputated arms/hands.

Hope I inspired you in a way and wishing you good luck in chasing your dream!

  7. Yes. Perfect eyesight is only required for a very few jobs, and being a doctor of any kind is not one of them. I know surgeons who wear glasses--they simply wear corrective lenses or glasses while in the OR.

  8. Certainly, as this would otherwise be in flagrant violation of the "Americans with Disabilities" law.  There is no reason that refractive lenses would interfere with your ability to be a competent veterinarian.

To elaborate, Veterinarians don't go to medical school, rather they attend Veterinary Schools.  Medical Schools, per se, are considered schools which train individuals in the diagnosis and/or treatment of human illness.  Veterinarians are just as competent in the care of animals (exclusive of H. sapiens), but do not have formal training in Allopathic Medical Schools, nor are they required to complete residency training in the same manner as are allopathic medical physicians..

  9. YES JUST WEAR UR CONTACS
