If I have been accepted to Optometry school but would rather go to dental school, whare are my options?

I have been accepted to Optometry school and am scheduled to enroll in September, but after doing a little soul-searching I think I would rather become a dentist now. I have already taken the OAT and done all the pre-reqs for Opt school, and don't really want to take the DAT in order to get in somewhere. Do I have any options in getting in a dental school wihtout taking the dental exam?

I don't know.  I would try calling a few dental schools and asking them.  You may not be able to get around the dental exam.  I am assuming it is different from OAT.  Also, pre-reqs may be different.

I think you don't have a choice. Unless you want to go to dental school overseas.
