  1. Or... let's say:

Candidate X is governor for 20 months of a state with a population and budget smaller than Brooklyn, NY

And Candidate Y has 12 years experience as a US and State Senator, during which time he's passed significant legislation while serving in both offices.

    Yeah... That's more like it.

I'm going with Candidate Y, thanks.

  2. Bill Clinton opened the door and in walks this gem.

I would love to get a peek at the votes that Hillary, Bill, and Geraldine Ferraro cast on election day.  Somehow I don't think it's what the party faithful will like.

  3. I love all the Democratic cowards who can't just answer the simplest of questions. Instead they give you a Democratic Obama political answer! Well...If.. this... and that... then... Blaa. I thought Obama was for change? Yet he gives the same ole' political answers.

To answer your Question: I would take a Governor.

How hard was that  Democrats? Geeze!

My point is that McCain offers more change than Obama. Obama speaks of change and he picks Joe Biden a long time Washington insider. Gov. Palin has no Washington ties. and she has more experience than Obama at running a country. For crying out loud she was a Gov. yeah it was 2 years, but thats better than Obama's 143days as a Senator voting "Present" just to cover his A**!

  4. After reading this, I'm more likely to vote Obama than I was before...kids, STAY in SCHOOL!!!

  5. Simple the governor but I would not feel comfortable with either one in the White House.

  6. The governor and the plus is she is not a socialist nor a globalist!

  7. Hay you forgot to say one has no commonsense and fell pregnant and had 5th deformed baby at age 44.

And one is from this party that has damned America with recession, high gas price and stupid Iraq war that has killed over 4100 Americans for her party's lies.

Hay - She need to learn about condoms and have a bit of reproductive health education before anything else.

She is not a governor but a go baby.

She should go and nurse that her Down syndrome baby.

Selfish illiterate clinging to religion to do the harm they preach against.

Do no harm by bringing a deformed baby to suffer in our world.

Sarah please go back home and give your love to that your baby by curdling him or her and nursing that baby instead of living the baby for someone else to nurse.

    Sara plain with no commonsense.

    .

  8. You need to learn to count. Obama has been a Senator for nearly 4 years and was a state legislator for 8 years before that.

  9. the good looking one  Palin

  10. I would have to look at "M" or number one. It sounds to me under this equation that X isn't running against Y but since Y lacks merit that Y must dummy down the equation to run against X which is number "2" and not number "1" because X = 2 and Y = 1.

I believe that the fallacy to the equation is that Y should be factor in that Y must run against "M" rather than X but since Y turned out to be blemished, and Y cannot equate to "M" and all the merits "M" has, then Y must choose to bypass "M" and equivacate itself with Y which is a bogus formula.

Y must be pretty lame because Y has all of the sudden made this a race against #2 "X" and not against #1 "M".

  11. Your calculations are faulty.....

You have candidate x with 11 years in government and candidate y with 20 months government experience...in Alaska, which has a smaller population than most decent sized cities.....candidate x--Obama-- is my choice....by a landslide.

  12. The governor. I wouldn't care if the governor had 142 days in office, one less than the senator: he/she would have more executive experience.

  13. Bush was also a governor!

  14. Whichever one makes me feel more self-righteous.

  15. The one that is for windfall taxes on oil companies.

    Oh wait, they both are.

The Gov has already implemented them though.

The one running for President then would be my choice.

I do not vote for Vice Presidents.

  16. The one that most speaks to my principles morally. During the whole campaign I have felt the parties need people who are at voters levels and Palin is the 1st person in a long time that fits the bill.

    xx

  17. 143 days sounds better than 2 years....
