  1. You need a box

  2. To watch local Over The Air (OTA) channels right now, all you need is a good quality, properly installed TV antenna.  After February 17, 2009, you will need to have either a digital TV receiver or a converter box.

I have Dish Network at home and have the satellite receiver connected to one of the inputs to my DTV receiver.  I also have an antenna connected to the ANT connector.  That way I can switch between satellite and OTA channels.

In nine years, I've only lost the Dish net signal maybe five times.  If you are having a frequent outage, perhaps you need to check that the dish has not been moved by the wind and that there are no trees or other things blocking the dish's view of the satellite.

  3. First of all Dish sucks.....And no u cant watch ****
