If I have dual citizenship, then when I apply to college will I be considered an international student?

I have US and Lebanese citizenship, and I live and go to school in North Carolina.

  1. No, that would be stupid.

    Your status as a student, usually depends on where you live and you having lived there for a required period, not on your nationality. I.e. in the UK you must have lived there for three years prior to your course to be a home student.

    I can't imagine it's that different in the US.


  2. No, the only way you would be is if you were to go to school in another country like England.
