  1. No one should pay any interest on a credit card. They should pay in full, on time.

    The interest rate on a card doesn't matter if you handle the account this way.

    You should pay your balance in full so that you do not carry interest.

  4. A good place to compare rates is bankrate.com.  That will give you a better understanding of the rates that other providers charge.  

    Whatever your current rate is, call the credit card company and request a lower rate.  More often than not, if you are a good customer, they will reduce it 5-7% rather than lose you.  If not, its time to move to a new company.

  5. I wouldn't pay more than 8% APR with your credit score.
