  1. i think so, especially if the seeping sewage can make its way to a watersupply of any kind even if its a stream that links to a field where cattle drink or to a private water supply. yes i would recommend making a complaint, also write a formal letter to the landlord asking once again for him to fix the sceptic tank and keep a dated copy as proof etc.

  2. raw sewage is a major health hazard and not something to be planting vegetables in.Start with the city bylaw officer and public works if that doesn't work contact your local health board then try your local TV station or all of these you can not live in these conditions not good for you or the neighbourhood

  3. complain to environment after you have written to your landlord[make a copy]state that you will give him 28 days notice of repair before taking it up with H.S.E[health and safety]he will jump .

  4. Probably but I would talk it over with the land lord first.

Plus won't need fertilizer for the garden.

  5. Yes and you should do it like yesterday. Raw sewage contains live bacterial spores which are extremely harmful to all. Not to mention the unpleasant smell. You can also sue your landlord for any illness incurred by this gross health hazard. It also attracts vermin flys etc. which can and do carry other diseases which are then transferred either by bites or droppings regurgitation or walking on work surfaces where food is prepared.

  6. probably can take it up with the city as it is a potential health hazard, so they would probably direct you, or the matter to the health authority.

  7. What's taken you so long? You knew it was there.

  8. definitely wouldn't eat any crops of you land lol . yes i would sue him

  9. In my city/county we have a landlord/tenant advocacy group and our state laws have a section regarding landlord responsibilities. I would check and see if either one is in your area. One thing you need to be aware of is not only crops but any pets, children playing and it can leech into other yards and water sheds and pollute drinking waters ect. I would call Health Dept if nothing else. Realize your landlord will not be happy with you so check out the landlord/tenant rights and responsibilities. Good luck and remember that health is most important.

  10. You should get a lovely crop of spuds this year.
