If I have old games I don't play anymore or I play them once in awhile...should I sell them or not?

I have friends over often and usually they like the games I dislike and bored of. I regret selling some games that I sold in the past but I'm not sure about this. Is it good to have a big game collection or get the extra money from gamestop for more games? I'm thinking of selling Bioshock, Saints Row, and Naruto rise of a ninja. Tell me if I should sell them or shouldn't

  1. Well I have a big game collection too and I sold some of them. If your friends like them sell it to them or just give it to them. If you decide to go to gamestop go now before they become older and worth less. Saints Row 2 is coming out so you could sell the first and wait for the second.

  2. Well, you might as well keep them because you won't be able to get much money for them as most of them have or are coming out with sequels soon. And, the more games the better right?  That's what hardcore gaming is all about.

But if you do sell them, I don't think you should go to GameStop or EB Games. I've sold 13 games for $21 there. They really give you a horrible deal. Try eBay or something else.

  3. Keep them and build up your collection. That way you can sell later on Ebay or to your friends. Also some games that have sequels soon can give you discounts if you trade in the game before it. Like my friend got discounted off the GTA4 when he traded in the third one.

  4. Well I think you should keep the games because some of your games got a pretty good replay value and also it's always good to look at your bookshelf and see that you got a pretty nice library of games.  Plus it's gives creditability to your bragging rights.  Keep collecting and when your desperate for money throw them on ebay, list all your titles and come up with game packages.  You will make more money that way. So wait until you have an impressive library then reconsider whether not sell.  Or if you plan having kids someday you got a pretty cool hand me down.  Like I did with my PS2.  Stay up and keep collecting.
