  1. Not at all.There will always be evidence on your hard drive.If they already know about it ,I an sure they will pursue you.I might suggest downloading bearshare.It is free to download songs on there.


  2. They prosecute a few dozen a year out of millions of down loaders, do you have any reason to suspect they are planning to sue you? That would be like winning the lottery in reverse.

    I haven't used a P2P network in years (except for tv shows)

  3. NO depending on how many songs you have on your pc and if they know about you downloading them. They can still get you on it if they want to.  

  4. If you rob a bank 5 times then stop can they get you?  Of course, you still stole the money.

  5. Unless you stopped a long time ago and the statute of limitations has expired you can still be prosecuted. But the RIAA can still file a civil lawsuit against you.

  6. If a robber stops committing robbery does that mean he can't be prosecuted for his past robberies?  The quick answer is "no" and that he can still be prosecuted.

  7. You can be punished for past activities.
