If I have strong morals & integrity and am nice will I not have an affair with a married man?

Will my morals, kindness & integrity stop me from having an affair even if I put myself in a predicament of being around this person every once in a while?

If you are really nice you will not have an affair with a married man, as that is not a nice thing to do, and is also a pretty miserable position to be in.  I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.  You would do better to stay away from this person.

If i run over a nail will i get a flat tire? Maybe, maybe not. We really never know because each temptation is unique and different so there may come a time when anyone could have an affair.

don't put yourself in the situation and that's the only way you'll know for sure if you'll be able to know for sure........morals and integrity does not stop anyone when they are in the heat of passion.........temptation leads to sin remove the temptation then no sin.......wish my husband knew that!!

The hormones are remarkably good at clouding one's judgement when opportunity and temptation present themselves.  Sexual sin is the one sin that God tells us to flee from rather than stand up and fight.  This is because He knows we are prone to weakness in this area.  We are designed and engineered by Him to respond sexually when in an intimate situation.  So,,,, avoid being alone with this person.  Make sure there is always someone else in the room with you.  That is a great help at staying honest and on course!  God bless!

If you feel a strong temptation then anyone could make that mistake but if you have strong morals and values then don't put yourself in a tempting position.  You sound like a smart person just needing encouragement not to make that mistake and if that's all you need then do not compromise yourself please.  Stay away from him if you have that much of an attraction because remember that honestly everything you do comes back on you and not only will you be offending God but you will also have that happen to you when you fall in love and your whole life will be turned upside down.
