I don't start paying them back until after a graduate until next year which is the expected time.

  1. Yes, based on what you've stated and if you have filed taxes and qualify based on your income level, you should be recieving your stimulus check.

First, student loans are not counted as income so you would not have put this on any tax forms, or at least for someone like myself who is legally considered single with no child dependents. Now, this is not a 100% accurate answer simply because some financial situations related to financial aid ARE recorded on tax forms, but you would have to speak with your financial aid office about this if you have any questions about it.

Since you are in school, whether your time is up next year or not, your enrolled so nobody is going to come looking for loan money yet or intercept your check to pay off student loans. I've been reading more about this occuring with other people, but this is not the case for your circumstance.  If for any reason you feel that there is something not right about your stimulus check, it should have contact information. You can also always speak with a local state representative in your area and they should also be able to help you with any questions you may have.  Best of luck to you!

  2. If you're claimed as a dependent on your parent's taxes, which is likely if you're an undergrad, then no.
