If I have two cockatiels in the same cage, will they still enjoy spending time with me?

And if i have them in separate cages, BESIDE each other will they bond to each other over me?

OF course they'll still enjoy spending time with you! You are their one and only giant primate-like-thing friend! No one can replace that friendship! Another bird is just another bird, but you my friend (hopefully) are a human.

please put the pair in one cage, it's better.

they will still bond with you after that :)

i have a pair of budgies in a cage and i play and talk to them all the time.you should try that, too. they'll be even closer to you :)

We have a male and he talks and whistles all the time. They would still interact with you but it probably wouldn't be as much. My mother inlaw has four, she has two cages, a male and female in each cage. The males still whistle and when they are out they all stay together, so all you can do is try. I think it more depends on the bird.

if you put them in the same cage, make sure its a decent size :)

when its budgies they do that, but with cockatiels its fine =)

they will probably bond with each other, but if you spend time with each one seperatly outside of the cage, they may bond to you also... i wouldn't put 2 in different cages, it is like taunting them, its like tell a person that you can talk to someone but only if they are across the room and can't go near you.

They might bond with each other if you put them in separate cages close to each other, but probably will, if you put them in the same cage. But, they don't always bond to each other over you. My birds all have mates, but still love me too. I hope this helps you.
