If I have two hideout places and i want to get another hamster..will the other hamster fight with the new one?

If I have two hideout places in my cage and i want to get another hamster will my hamsters still fight for territory or will they be fine

First of all, what sort of hamster do you have?  A typical (non-dwarf) hamster is solitary.  They do not live together in the wild, and will fight to the death.  Unfortunately, even if you do have a dwarf, most dwarfs will not get along unless they have been raised together as cagemates from birth.  So if you get a new hamster to introduce to your other hamster, chances are 99.9% that they will fight and it will probably end in death for one of the hamsters.

How about getting a second cage?  Then you can have another hamster without worrying. :)

They might just run into eachother sometime and I wouldnt reccomend it. If you want another hamster buy another cage. I suggest bins they are cheap and come in large sizes.

Unless you have a dwarf hamster I wouldnt suggest doing it because males will almost always fight same with females. Territory is very important.

I wouldnt do it just to be careful, this can also stress them out and lead to other diseases. Some fatal.

hamsters are very territorial. put two together and they will probably fight. i wouldn't reccomend it, but sometime they can get along, it depends, i suppose...

at ftrst they will fight becaus of there domnince ans with in 3 days they will be the best of friends but make shure to put food in 2 places so no aggressiom will come out !!!!!

i wouldn't because hamsters only like just u around. if they r young they might get along for a little while. if they are brother and sister then u can. good luck!
