  1. No.  This vortex cr*p does no good on fuel injected cars.  If the amazing engineers at Toyota thought that they could increase the gas mileage of a car with a cheap part like that they would do it in a heart beat.

The old standby's are still the best means to increase your mpg.  Keep your tires aired up.  replace your air filter as needed.  Don't sit around with the engine idling if you don't have to.  Don't use the AC if you don't need to.

The link below will give you some more ideas

Sorry, thought mpg not hp.  vortex won't work for that either.  If you really want to add hp there is no cheap way to do it.  check out TRD (Toyota Racing Development) they may make a super charger for that engine.

Sorry, just checked.  Doesn't look like TRD doesn't make any performance parts for the RAV.

  2. yes you will feel the power surge when you add the vortex generator.. it will ad 10-15 hp.. you will notice an increase in mpg but you wont feel 10-15 hp... but it will be there.. i've added one to my car and its improved mpg has been very noticeable

  3. My brothr has it on his 2003 Altima V6- "What a waste of money" he told me. There's no miracle formula for increasing power and economy. I agree with the last answer. The vehicle comes from the manufacturer with the best balance of power and performance. They spend millions of dollars on R&D to come up with the perfect balance for just one vehicle. Once you change one quality, you change them all. Increase power, lose mpg. Besides 265 hp in a RAV4? Why do you need more power? It is an overkill already on hat vehicle.
