  1. Yes, it definitely will.

Joining more extracurricular activities helps colleges decide what kind of person you are.

It probably also helps show colleges how lenient you are with keeping your studies and other stuff (activies) in check.

Good grades always help, but extra activities helps seperate you from all the other braniacs who don't do anything extra.

  2. Colleges are looking for over achievers im in 5 total clubs and play one sport all to help my chances of getting into a colllege i would advise you join a couple of clubs and maybe a sport or two. Getting good grades can help your chances but keep in mind colleges are only looking for the best of the best to admit and being very active in high school can help your chances of getting in to most colleges

  3. Ah, yes. That falls under 'extracurriculars,' and you really do need extracurriculars to get into a good college--that also includes sports, though...but colleges like it if you're in 1 or 2 (or 3) clubs, especially if you're in a leadership position (like president of the club). You should also have volunteer experience (like volunteering at a soup kitchen or something.)

  4. It will look good on the application and may help you get in.

  5. any club you join will always look good on your school records..especially if its a club that has something to do with what you're going into college for. :-)

  6. yes, it looks good as extracurricular

  7. It will look good on your applications and everything. I think you should do it.

  8. No.  Taking college courses during high school is what will help.
