If I keep getting paper jams, does that mean i have to buy a new printer?

i've cleaned it and done all the stuff on troubleshooting but it keeps getting paper jams every time i try to print something. does this mean the problem is with the printer?

  1. I HATE getting a new printer. If you've done all the troubleshooting, you've probably done the thing about turning the stack of paper over, and switching the direction of the paper. I've had printer troubles, too, and I've wondered if the humidity in the atmosphere was responsible for part of the problem.


  2. Humidity does play a part in how the paper feeds. If the paper has been there a while, you may just have to get more paper.

  3. If by chance it is a HP printer, do this

    Go to their site. It is a free service 24/7

    Then lower left click Support and troubleshooting

    Then upper right, contact HP

    Here you have a choice of email or live chat support (Via computer) They are fast in responding
