  1. your sitting right there, try it

  2. UK answer.

You could try www.ancestry.co.uk  it should be on there for certain, their indice  date from 1st July 1837 - 31st December 2005. They have pay per view vouchers now. You could also give your grandfathers name, year of birth and location. There are lots of willing researchers on here who really like a challenge.

If you aren't  happy to post your grandfathers  details you can email me through my yahoo profile.

  3. If you can find your grandfathers name on a church record (christenings have always been recorded) or birth records of city hall of the town he was born in that would be of help.  I don't know the year he was born in of course so he could have been born at home otherwise check with the hospitals.

There are a lot of genealogy websites as well that you can access but if all fails, pack your bags and go do a search in person.  Nowadays a lot of towns will make an effort to file records on computer, but depending on where he is from you may have to open a dusty book or two.

  4. i hate LAZY people...do a SEARCH through the INTERNET

  5. Yes you can. You can go to any Genealogy website to find out. It may cost you a few dollars to do it though. Some even offer a trial membership. Or there should be some kind of vital records or library of family genealogy that you can go to in your country that lets you find any information on your family. Hope this helps.
