If I learned Microsoft Word and Excel 2007, would I be proficient at the 2003 versions as well?

  1. yes.

    about the only difference is the menu systems are different.  But if you're "proficient" with 2007 versions, you'll have no problems working on the 2003 versions.  Functionality is pretty much the same (maybe a few new features in 2007 that weren't in 2003 but 99% of the functionality is the same).  The trick is to become "proficient" :-))))


  2. sorry but no, reasong being that the 2003 versions have had a complete overhaul of revisions so the menus and keyboard shortcuts have been changed.

    you will be better than those who have never used theese programs but you might need to re-learn them.

  3. In short: Yes.

    Although there will be a few changes in the 2007 edition to the 2003 edition, the basic interface and usage is still almost exactly the same.
