  1. I leave my butter in a covered dish on the counter all the time.  It stays nice and spreadable soft.  A stick lasts about a week at my house.

I have never had a problem with it going bad.

  2. outside your house or fridge? i left butter out on my counter in a little tuppaware for over a day and it was fine

  3. I keep a stick of butter in a butter dish on the counter at all times and I am still alive!

  4. It could melt, depending on temperature. It could melt in flavor, and once it hardens again, it'll taste probably bland.

    I'm not entirely sure.

  5. yeh but it will be so soft

  6. yes it is safe to eat

but be careful with leaving out chicken it is dangerous when is not good

  7. yes, it is safe to eat.

  8. yes no problem at all for a couple of days

  9. It's totally fine.  My grandma used to keep butter in a covered butter dish in the cupboard until it was gone.  We never got sick.  I routinely leave a couple sticks out overnight if I'll be making cookies the next day.

  10. Safe? Perfectly.

    Tasty? Probably not.

And the texture/density is unlikely to please you.

  11. Heck yes...Growing up, my mom always left the butter out.  I didn't realize that other families kept it refrigerated.  Now that I have my own place, I keep mine refrigerated, but leaving it out won't hurt you at all.  It'll just be soft and easier to spread on toast.  :)
