  1. you should, when my husband left for all that in 2003 he got an exodus break for christmas.

  2. you should get a few days pass for xmas, not many tho, maybe 2. Not sure. Depends what you are doing too. I know infantry gets very few days if their training is during xmas.

  3. You will get a break for exodus for Christmas. Normally one week though it depends on where you are in your training.

  4. If you leave for BCT in Sept, more than likely you'll be in AIT by Dec.  You won't have a break between BCT and AIT though.  Depending on where your AIT location is in relation to your BCT location, you're given a certain amount of travel days.

If your AIT ends in 2009, you'll get Xmas Exodus.  You'll be given a max of 2 weeks, usually about a week before Xmas all the way through to a couple of days after New Year's.

Permanent Party/Cadre/DSs will go to half-day schedules or day on/day off schedules.  Some Soldiers won't take EXODUS and end up saving their leave days for PCS.

If you're lucky enough and you're in AIT by Thxgiving, you should be able to get a 4 day pass in which you'll be able to go home for a couple of days and then come back.  I was able to go home to TX from GA for the 4th of July.  They give you a time in which to be back for accountability.

  5. Nope, you will ship straight to AIT after basic.

Basic will be over in Nov for you.

Now once your in AIT, you should get some leave over x-mas

    Around 10 days.
