If I let a balloon go in Southern Indiana, where will it end up?

My daughter lost her balloon today outside and I was wondering where it might end up because I was thinkink it would be cool to get it back for her. Also how many days does it take to get back down?

it will most likely end up popping due to the pressure difference.  LIke when your ears pop in an airplane

umm it all depends on the direction of the wind and the speed of how fast the wind is blowing and then the helium is what is making it float so it depends how much helium is in it to determine how long it will stay in the air

The nearest mountain. And kill a harmless animal. OR just ruin the environment. It's not going to go up to Heaven. Your just making earth even more trashy. So i would suggest not to even let it go.
