  1. u will get some sucky players but have had their moments...

  2. well...it'll probably pick a player not to strong but fair played..;.

  3. its gonna pick the best player available for you, even if youre lacking at a certain position, the computer doesnt recognize that.

  4. That makes perfect sense to me.

I wouldn't suggest it, but its a possible thing that you can do. Especially since your in the same league with me, and it seems like i'm the only one with any experience in that one league we are in...err...

Anyway, if you are going to do that, I would suggest setting your pre-rankings one of these days. I can help you through it one night if you want. However, you aren't going to get the players that you think would be good. If there are any injuries before the draft that you don't catch, you could end up drafting that player.

In theory, the auto pick takes the "best ava player" That doesn't mean he is actually best, it means they are going off last years numbers in their "O-rank". That's all that means. So you might not get the best team, but on the other hand, you could have a good one.

    Just let me know.

    Good luck!!

  5. Some fantasy leagues just pick the highest ranked player in whatever position you need.

  6. Agree

    Crappy

    STEVEC

  7. The Computer will Pick the Mean Player.. sumone who is avg in all the deciding characteristics and not superior in any one.

  8. Don't be shocked if you end up with losers like:

    Steve C

    Sonic

    and one winner in Kim

It's always best to do your research, go to yahoo / espn / CBS sportsline and check out mock drafts to see their predictions of who will get drafted where and formulate a plan based off of who you think will kick @ss.

  9. If it's Yahoo, it already preloaded with a default ranking, and it will indeed draft a full team for you.  It's very "hit and miss."

The risk you take is that there are usually a few players in that ranking who are either injured, overrated, or have another flaw.

For the most part, you can still get a decent team, but you might consider tweaking the default player ranking to remove some of the risk.

Example, Warrick Dunn will likely be drafted by the computer, and he may not be a player that you want.

Jeremy Shockey may not be on the Giants.

Travis Henry doesn't have a team yet, yet may be selected.

You know more than the average fan, so if you're not comfortable drafting your own team... let the computer do it based on how you ranked the list.

The hard part is understanding the scording settings.  Some leagues reward points for receptions, which makes passing-catching backs or possession receivers very valuable.

Pay attention to see if the league reward kick return yardage, another kind of 'bonus.'
