If I lie to a car rental company about being 25 or older...?

  1. They will see your age on your drivers licence


  2. You will have to show them your drivers license to get the car and I believe your drivers license will have your birth date on it. So yes, they will find out or you won't get the car.

  5. No,  they have no way of finding out.  Just tell 'em you don't have a drivers license, that way you won't have to show it to 'em.

  6. Well since you have to show your Drivers Lincense how do you expect them to not know you are not 25?  You might be able to get away with it if you play stupid...like you had no idea that they charged an extra fee for people under 25.

  7. I worked at a rental car company for many years and we had to type in the birthdate.  The computer would automatically calculate the age and add the under 25 fee when appropriate.  However, there are some credit cards that waive that fee when you rent using their card.
