  1. absolutely.    most states have an interstate compact where they share the information.

also, if you don't pay the ticket and/or don't go to court, your license could be revoked by the State of Floriday since you did not pay for Illinois ticket.

  2. Thanks to computers linking all state DMV systems, a ticket in another state will show up in your home state. Convictions count against your license, as well as warrants issued for failure to pay fines.   A suspension of your driving privileges by Illinois will be reported to Florida, and may result in your loss of your Florida driving privileges.

  3. You can go from state to state and get a ticket in each state and unless you have a license from each state it will not effect your points. Only thing that gets dinged is your car insurance.

  4. Oh yes it does go on your driving record.  I have had it happen, and I also live in Fl.  I got a ticket in PA and it is on my driving record.  I went to the drivers license place and they showed it to me on the computer.

  5. Football is wrong, most state cooperate with each other. Last time I checked about 40 of the states share data, so a ticket in a state you ar e visiting is the same as a ticket in your home state in most situations. They are called compact violator agreements or something like that.

It also means that if you fail to appear in court or pay your fine, your home state will suspend or revoke your license.
