I've only been to Baltimore once before, and I've never had fresh crab. I realize it's not peak crab season, but I wanna try some anyway. I'm not looking for a tourist trap, maybe somewhere the locals enjoy. I don't care if it's in a "bad area" or not, I can hold my own.

  1. There are seafood places ALL OVER Baltimore.  my personal favorite seafood RESTURANT is...

    Mo's seafood

They have really good crab cakes.  I would avoid Phillips.. they are overpriced and full of tourists.

Another place I like to go is the Cross Street Market in Federal Hill.  This isn't a typical resturant, but you can get really good seafood there.. along with lots of other stuff.. it's really nice and has a really great atmosphere.

I'm sure Lexington Market has got good stuff, too but the atmosphere is MUCH nicer at Cross Street.  Lexington is much larger though.

    Enjoy Baltimore!

  2. Go to Jimmy's, or Costas

  3. Phillips Seafood is great, but touristy.  Go to  Nick's Fish House.

    NICK'S FISH HOUSE

    D. Hinkleman

    2600 Insulator Drive

    Baltimore, Maryland 21230

  4. You can go to the Baltimore Harbor.  It's expensive, but as you get to know people in the area, you will hear of little known spots.

Annapolis is a great place if you don't mind the drive.

  5. all above are 'tourist' spots...

    2nd-when?

3rd-cost ? per person? or dozen?

I can steer u to areas in east/north of Baltimore ,all in the county..
