How much would a $10 place ticket on Street Sense have paid me in this year's Kentucky Derby?

and does it matter that my bet wasn't across the board?

is the Place ticket's payout any different, if I were to bet it with an across the board ticket than as a standalone bet?

An across the board bet is placing three bets: one to win, one, to place, one to show.  A $10 across the board bet would have cost you $30 but you would have won $114.
