If I make a homeless application to another local council will they accept me?

I dont work or have any family in the local council im applying to would they accept my homeless application or not?

If you are homeless and need housing they are duty bound to accept you and if you are a female and pregnant or have mental health problems then you jump to the top of that list as you will if you have children or you are fleeing domestic violence, IO hjope your not though, good luck.

The emergency housing number for newcastle is 01912328520 and that kicks in at 5pm each night though I apoligise I do not have the nuber for the daytime one.

In brief yes as long as you have ties to the area e.g family but I dont think they would help you with no ties sorry!

In scotland, the local council are obliged to give you accomodation for 14 days while they investigate your claim. You should have connections to the area though or they will not give you permanent accomodation.

it depends on your circumstances ie where you live just now, why you are becoming homeless its not just as easy as applying and being accepted you will be interviewed
