If I marry a blonde women with blues and have a child with her,what color hair and eyes will my child have?

I have between dark brown and black hair.And I have brown eyes.I had light blonde high lights when I was 3 years old and my mom claimed she had blonde hair when she was little too.My uncle and my grandma on my mom's side have grey eyes .And my dad has pitched black hair with brown eyes.My mom also claims that a couple of her uncles have blonde hair.

  1. Your child will probably have brown eyes and light brown hair- those genes are dominant and so more likely to occur, but you never know. My mom has blonde hair and blue eyes, my dad dark hair and brown eyes, and i have light brown hair and dark eyes. But, nothing is garenteed  (sp?), and you should still love your child no matter what he/she looks like.

  3. that's a bit more complicated than that... you can make an educated guess, but you never know if someone is carrying a recessive trait that could cause their eyes to be a totally different color. just wait until it's born!

  4. okay you child has these % :(due to a punnett square chart)

    50% blonde hair

    50% brown black hair

    it shows up 100% brown eyes but the blues eyes are a recessive gene so it could show up but as you can see the odds are against it

  5. hmm, i always thought it could be a mix of both your genes but i had a friend that once told me it depends on who's genes are more dominate.
