If I only RENT a movie on iTunes, can I put it on my iPod or not?

I want to get a movie on iTunes but I dont want to pay 14.99 to buy it. I can rent it for 3.99, but if I do rent it, can I put it on my iPod? Help please.. thanks.

If you rent it, you can DEFINITELY put it on your iPod as long as it's the SIXTH generation iPod, iPod touch, iPod nano THIRD generation, or iPhone ONLY. Once you "rent" the movie, you have 30 days to watch it and once you start watching it, you need to finish it in 24 hours. After that, the movie can no longer be watched.

you have to buy the movie that is the only legal way to put it on your ipod but if rent it and stream it you can record it using a program like realplayer
