  1. Very unlikely, sadly. I am a direct descendant of one of the last Irish kings myself, and yet I have no royal title nor standing. The castle is still in my family's name, but we are not actual royalty. It's just nice to know that if things still were they way they were back then, people would bow to me like I've always wanted them to! Haha!

  2. As far as you know, is your mother/father a queen/king/prince/princess?

If not, I don't think you could be, unless you marry into direct royalty...But my knowledge only stretches as far as Meg Cabbot's books go.

  3. Could you expand on this please?

Did you find out you were descended from a titled noble, such at the Duke of ??, or did you just find someone in your family tree with the surname of Duke?

  4. That all depends if your "Duke Blood" is from a "Royal Duke" or a noble duchy title from a peerage class. A Royal Duke is a duke who is a member of the British Royal Family, entitled to the style of "His Royal Highness". In the United Kingdom, royal ducal titles which have been given within the royal family include Duke of Cornwall, Duke of Lancaster, Duke of Clarence, Duke of York, Duke of Gloucester, Duke of Bedford, Duke of Cumberland, Duke of Cambridge, Duke of Rothesay, Duke of Albany, Duke of Ross, Duke of Edinburgh, Duke of Kent, Duke of Sussex, and Duke of Connaught and Strathearn.

Note: The use of the title of Princess of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland is entirely at the will of the Sovereign. Individuals holding the title of princess are styled "Her Royal Highness" (HRH). Since King George V's Letters Patent of 30 November 1917, the title "Princess" and the use of the style "Royal Highness" has generally been restricted to the following persons:

    - the legitimate daughters of a British Sovereign,

    - the legitimate male line granddaughters of a British Sovereign,

    - the wife of a British prince.

  5. since there are no sovereign duchies in the world, no you won't become a princess unless you marry a man who is an official prince. If your grandfather or something has a peerage title as a duke, you might have some kind of courtesy title, such as the lady, the right honorable, etc, but chances are this isnt true, its just something that you can feel good about

  6. You can't be a princess unless you are born into  a Royal Duke's family.A daughter of a Royal Duke is a princess;a good example of this is Prince Andrew,Duke of York. His daughters are Princess Beatrice of York and Princess Eugenie of York.

The only way for a non-Royal Duke's daughter to become a princess is to marry a prince.

As you are not in direct line of succession to a throne,or a title, you can't be a princess unless you marry a prince.

  7. i am directly related to bonny prince charlie of Scotland

you have as much chance as me of becoming a member of any royal household.  no chance what so ever

  8. Marry the Prince of Monaco.

  9. I think it takes more than Duke of Hazard blood. lol. To become a Princess you would have to marry a Prince.

  10. Of course not.

  11. You can't become a princess unless you marry a prince.

  12. the only way you could become a princess is if you married a prince probably.  otherwise, maybe you could become a duchess by blood.  but you're probably not directly in the inheritance line for that either.

  13. http://www.scottishhighlandtitles.com/

Go there, you can buy the lawful title of Lady or Laird for £20, and you can have it put on your driving licence etc. My sister did it.
