I know, I can go around the U.S.A (including Hawaii and Alaska) with my work permit but not out of the borders. I was wondering if the same applies to Puerto Rico. Will I be able to reenter the country if I go to Puerto Rico.?

  1. I was born in Puerto Rico and I moved here when I was 5. i didnt need a green card and passport or a work permit..Puerto Rico is a part of the United States..and us Ricans are not immigrants..lol

  2. If you have a Visa Stamp on your passport, you definitely can. If you have a passport with a legal permit to the US, you also can. You might need to get a signature from the office that sponsored your work permit in case your Visa was issued more than a year ago.
