If I open a can of evaporated milk, then put it in a jar w/ a lid and refrigerated it, how long will it last?

for like a week or two.

Couple weeks if you put it in the coldest part of your frig.

That is even with a lid on it, LOL

I have kept it for up to 2 weeks and it was still just fine. I used a sterilized jar cooled from the dishwasher tho'.

edit:  If it goes bad in 3 days then the problem is in the refrigeration and not the milk or it was placed in a jar that was not clean or not placed in another container. Even in the can I can keep the can milk for up to a week just fine covered.

in my experience, about 5 days.  After that it starts to go south in a hurry.  Not scientific, just personal experience.

After opening, keep the milk refrigerated in an air tight container and use within several days.
