If I order my credit report, will it drop my credit score?

Everyone wants to know what their credit score is. For Free! But if I check to see what my credit score is, is it going to drop?

I hope not.

  1. No, your credit score is not affected at all when YOU look at it.  In fact, you're the only one that can see that you have looked at it.

    Also, be careful of where you check your credit score.  You're best off doing it at the official credit bureaus; it's much safer that way.  It's very rare for you to be able to see your credit SCORE for free though-- you're only legally entitled to see your report for free.
