If I order something from the U.S., coming from Chile, approximately how much will the shipping be?

Here in Chile (the tip of south america) they don't some things i wish to have, so I was going to get some things but I would prefer having an estimate of shipping before i order things.

  1. It depends, you can have things shipped via air or via sea. Via sea is much cheaper but you need to allow 4-6 weeks to deliver and you buy some square feet in a container. Via air you have expedited or standard shipping. The standard will be around 3 weeks, the expedited around a week. About costs, it all depends on the weight and dimensions of the cargo. Sometimes places like DHL will tell you that regardless of the weight, it's all you can place inside a certain type of box. They also tell you that there is a standard price for all shipping companies but it's not true, DHL is a bit more expensive than UPS. I recommend you get in contact with these two and ask for a price estimate. I've worked with both when shipping things to Peru.
