If I passed the AT-SAT test in order to become an air traffic controller, will I get an interview?

  1. There's no guarantee. It's likely, but it does depend on your score (qualified or well qualified) as well as your application & resume. Chances are you will eventually, but it may or may not be in their first round of interviews for the posting. They've been doing numerous interviews off of most postings, so if they deny you once don't give up they may come back and choose you the next time around (months later).

    Keep an eye on the website to see if you make the Referral List first, if you get an interview they will email you about it. That won't be posted on the website.

  2. It is very likely.  The FAA has quite a few thousand of us to replace over the next few years.  BTW, we have one new developmental who had an 84.5, so it looks like the people making that call aren't being too fussy.  Good luck.
