  1. It is charged as a purchase. Cash advances would be getting money from an atm.

  2. It's a purchase.

I've been paying my monthly gym membership automatcally on my visa (to help along my credits toward rewards) for almost 2 years now.

Cash advances are when you actually try to get cash.  Or if you try to use your card to send money Western Union or MoneyGram or something... Had a friend that got seriously messed up doing that one. :(

  3. Be careful if you need to apply for an online payday loan. Each state has different laws and regulations, and I'm not sure about rules and regulations. Maybe you can find a local cash advance office so you can get advice before taking out the loan. http://www.howtogetcashadvance.com/Insta...

  4. purchase

  5. it's a purchase.  an advance is when you pay at a store and asks if you want cash back, that's an advance.

  6. Its called DIRECT DEBIT. You are paying in advance for a service. I'm guessing its part of a contractual obligation as well? Are you with fitness first?
