If I pick up a wild woodchuck, will it bite me, and how hard would that bite be?

  1. The scientific way to answer your question requires experimental proof. I'd say go and catch a few hundred woodchucks, rate the bites from 1 to 10 and write the results in a Bell curve. If you still have any fingers, that's it.


  2. Yes it will and it will hurt and you will be going to the ER.  Yes, a woodchuck could be a carrier of rabies.

  3. Have you ever seen a woodchuck's incisors? Imagine the top and bottom ones meeting inside your hand.

  4. Yes it will definitely bite you.  And I'd say the bite would be pretty hard because they have to be able to chomp wood with just their mouths so the bite force/teeth will hurt alot.
