  1. yes, sadly my mom does this all the time, they actually grow quite well. i pity your children if you have any.

  2. its a seed so id say prob

  3. yes but the seeds must be dryed first.

  4. I grow peppers from seed all the time.  However, all these new hybrid varieties take longer to germinate.  None have gone to fruit yet this year.

If you want to grow peppers from seed avoid the hybrids ("Because you never know what you're gonna get") and stick with HEIRLOOM seeds.  These seeds are guaranteed to grow but they are more susceptible to disease.

I'm sorry you hate peppers but they are chuck full of vitamins.

  5. You can but you may not end up with the same pepper as what you have bought..commercial growers will grow many varieties of peppers within the same area and they cross pollinate...This does not effect the original seed planted , but it will effect the next generation if you use the seed from that pepper..per say..if they are growing bell peppers on one acre and the next acre is cubinelle peppers, the bees will cross pollinate these peppers and the next generation will not resemble the pepper the seed is saved and used the following year..I have 9 types of peppers grown right next toeach other..so I cannot save and reuse thier seeds..for they will not be like the ones the seed came from

  6. bell peppers are easy to grow with a right environment, but if you want something better then your grocery store usual you need to bye from a catalog,www.tomatogrowers.com

they have a large variety of peppers regular and hot.
