If I plug my iPod into a different computer , will my songs erase ?

I have an iPod nano and I usually put songs onto my iPod using a desktop . I recently got a new laptop and I was wondering if I plugged it into the laptop , will my original songs erase ? And , would I be able to download new songs to add to my iPod ?

It will erase it, and you will have to setup iTunes on the notebook...
