There must be a way I can swap the function of the @ key and the " key to do be what they are. At the moment, if I press shift and the quotation key I get the @ symbol and vice versa. Please can someone explain how I can swap this back to how it should be?

  1. As TallPaul implies, your country setting is set to US and you have a UK keyboard (or the other way round). Using Regional Settings will correct this.

  2. Control Panel -> Regional Settings... change it to UK.

  3. I have been wanting to know this for a long time aswell, it happened after i re-installed windows. I also cant get the British pound sign either and it isnt even on a different key.

  4. it's very easy jut you can remove the button 2 and button ? and replace it

  5. Lol. Mine was like that for a while but is set UK now and I still get it wrong.
