I've had some baaaaad bad jobs in the past, and Id rather omit them from the resume...

But if I get hired, and provide my SIN number, will the employer find out that I some information was missing from the resume?

or are they not allowed to find that out and its only for gov't ... like for taxing.

  1. no they won't or at least they shouldn't be able too the SIN number is only for the use of CCRA for income tax purposes and is by law not to be used for any other purposes.

  2. Not unless your employer is in to bribery of federal employees or hacking into government computers.
