How do you make sure its lined up when you put it back on?

What gaskets do I need to replace after my mechanic friend puts in the new syncros?

pay your mechanic friend a little extra and have him help you that transmission can bite you hard if it falls off the jack

Have your mechanic help you with that.  Don't want anyone to get hurt.

it has dowel pins in it that will help it line back up ,and on the transmission its self you,ll need gaskets for the housing and new seals in it,those can be purchased from any parts store,lining it back up isnt a problem though ,making sure you have the righ tools to work with will help on doing this one,make sure the car is stable before you start to work on it,good luck.
